She’s a music teacher. She was telling me about how she chewed out some kids for not having their music in rehearsal, and I commented jokingly about how she’s a pretty scary angry teacher. She responded: “You know, us female teachers are always expected to be so nice and gentle. When we have to get strict, we get called evil and crazy. It’s not right and honestly I don’t care if I scare anyone. It’s my responsibility to give these kids an education.”
